Mayo Clinic Department of Nursing is pleased to announce a two-day symposium for international nurses and nurse leaders designed to provide an in-depth exposure to the mission, values and systems that have made Mayo Clinic Nursing a recognized leader worldwide. Through presentations, tours, discussions, and question and answer sessions, participants will gain a cohesive understanding of Mayo Clinic’s nursing care delivery.
Exchanging information about professional healthcare practices has been a key component of Mayo Clinic’s philosophy dating back to its origin. Mayo Clinic nurses have been involved in professional nursing exchanges dating back to the 1960s.

Travel and Lodging
Rochester International Airport (RST) services Rochester with multiple flights daily from Chicago and Minneapolis via American and Delta Airlines. Access to and from the airport is provided by taxi cab and shuttle service. The airport is located approximately ten miles from downtown Rochester and the Mayo Clinic campus.
The Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is located 70 miles north of Rochester. Ground transportation from the MSP airport to Rochester can be arranged through Rochester Shuttle Service.
Most hotels in the area are either connected to the conference facility via skyway and walking subway or offer a complimentary shuttle service to Mayo Clinic campus.

To ensure accommodations, please make your reservation by October 10, 2017. Reservation requests received after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis.
Continuing Education Credit:
Mayo Continuing Nursing Education is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Participants can earn up to 11.58 ANCC nursing contact hours for attendance at the event commensurate with the extent
of their participation in the activity and completion of the evaluation.
Certificate will be awarded upon completion of symposium.
The conference registration fee of $650 includes instructional materials, breakfast, lunch, break refreshments, evening reception, Mayo Clinic campus and patient care area tours, and the historical Mayo Clinic trolley tour.
Registrants will receive a confirmation email that will serve as approval for their visit to Mayo Clinic as a conference attendee, assist in visa procurement, or shared with immigration office as necessary.
If you cancel your participation in this conference, your registration fee, less an administration fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by Mayo Continuing Nursing Education before Wednesday, October 4, 2017 (email: email@example.com). No refunds will be made on or after October 4, 2017.
Mayo Continuing Nursing Education reserves the right to cancel or postpone any conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event Mayo Continuing Nursing Education must cancel or postpone this conference, Mayo Continuing Nursing Education will refund the registration fee, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.
