Conference description:

The 2018 LPN Clinical Practice Review is designed to share clinical updates on a variety of topics, impacting all ages, across the continuum of care. This clinical review course applies to LPNs practicing in a variety of settings, both inpatient and outpatient.

Goals: 

  • Identify the impact of prevention and screening on patient outcomes
  • Recognize the benefits of nutrition on health and wellness
  • Discuss the lifelong impact of adverse childhood experiences

Intended audience:

This conference is designed for licensed practical nurses and other healthcare providers who work in a variety of settings and desire a clinical update.

This conference will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Phillips Hall, first floor, Siebens Building, Mayo Clinic, 100 Second Avenue SW, Rochester, Minnesota.

Registration Details

Register before September 4, 2018

The conference registration fee of $150 includes instructional materials, breakfast, and break refreshments. Lunch will be on your own. Pre-registration is required, and preferred by September 4, 2018.

Out of respect for conference participants, children are restricted from the conference.

Cancellations

If you cancel your participation in this conference, your registration fee, less an administration fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by Mayo Continuing Nursing Education before September 4, 2018 (email: cne@mayo.edu). No refunds will be made on or after September 4, 2018.

Mayo Continuing Nursing Education reserves the right to cancel or postpone any conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event Mayo Continuing Nursing Education must cancel or postpone this conference, Mayo Continuing Nursing Education will refund the registration fee, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.

You must complete the evaluation and claim your certificate to earn contact hours.

Nursing

Participants can earn up to 6.75 ANCC nursing contact hours for attendance at the conference, commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity and completion of the evaluation.
