Mayo Clinic is pleased to present the 2018 Orthopedic Nursing Conference:  Innovations and Research Advancing the Care of the Diverse Orthopedic Patient.

The conference will explore a variety of topics impacting orthopedic patients in a fast-paced, ever-changing world of healthcare. We will present a variety of topics including current orthopedic research, the role of 3-D modeling in orthopedic surgery, considerations for the care of transgender orthopedic patients, and the impact of the opioid crisis.

Conference goals:

•             Explore the impact of research and technology on the care of the orthopedic patient

•             Discuss the care of a diverse orthopedic patient population

•             Collaborate and network with colleagues

Intended Audience:

This conference is designed for nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and all other healthcare professionals interested in the care of orthopedic patients.

This conference will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Siebens Building, Mayo Clinic, 100 Second Avenue SW, Rochester, Minnesota.

Registration Details

Register before October 3, 2018 

The conference registration fee of $180 includes instructional materials, breakfast, box lunch, and break refreshments. Pre-registration is required, and preferred by October 3, 2018.

Out of respect for conference participants, children are restricted from the conference.

Cancellations:

If you cancel your participation in this conference, your registration fee, less an administration fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by Mayo Continuing Nursing Education before October 3, 2018 (email: cne@mayo.edu). No refunds will be made on or after October 3, 2018.

Mayo Continuing Nursing Education reserves the right to cancel or postpone any conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event Mayo Continuing Nursing Education must cancel or postpone this conference, Mayo Continuing Nursing Education will refund the registration fee, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.
