Pain affects more Americans than heart disease, diabetes and cancer combined. Nurses and other care providers interact with individuals with all types of pain across the health care continuum. This conference is designed to introduce and explore various approaches to manage pain and enhance the patient experience.
- Describe two approaches to pain management
- Explain how pain management impacts the patient experience
- Discuss the impact of the opioid crisis on patient pain management
- Collaborate and network with colleagues
This conference is designed for registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in pain management challenges in their daily practice.
