Pain affects more Americans than heart disease, diabetes and cancer combined. Nurses and other care providers interact with individuals with all types of pain across the health care continuum. This conference is designed to introduce and explore various approaches to manage pain and enhance the patient experience.
- Explore the management of acute and chronic pain
- Describe alternative approaches to pain management
- Discuss accreditation and regulatory requirements that influence nursing care in pain management
- Explain how pain management impacts the patient experience
This conference is designed for registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in pain management challenges in their daily practice.
