The Pain Management Nursing Conference scheduled for July 30, 2020 is cancelled and will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. 

Pain affects more Americans than heart disease, diabetes, and cancer combined. Nurses and other

care providers interact with individuals with all types of pain across the healthcare continuum. This
conference is designed to introduce and explore various approaches to managing pain.


• Explore the management of acute and chronic pain
• Describe alternative approaches to pain management
• Discuss individualized medicine and pharmacogenomics related to pain medications
• Provide updates on the opioid epidemic including prescribing guidelines, legislation, and community efforts

Intended Audience: 

This conference is designed for registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in pain management challenges in their daily practice.
